Privacy
This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) constitutes an agreement between you and GoPad Secure Technologies Inc and its affiliates, corporate parent(s), and subsidiaries (collectively “GoPad ”, “us”, “our,” or “we”). GoPad is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what GoPad collects, and how we use, protect, and disclose information collected and created during your use of the GoPad app or website.

Personal Information
We consider all information captured using GoPad Secure to be a private communication between childcare providers and parents. No personal information is shared with any external parties, and communications are only shared with a parent if a provider has explicitly invited the parent to establish communications. All communications are handled via the parent’s email address. In order to create an account on gopadsecure.com users are required to validate their email address and only have visibility to information shared to that specific email address.

Information collected for Children
The information collected from childcare providers during our registration process is the child’s first name, parent’s e-mail address, and birthdate. We collect birthdates to validate age-appropriate daily activities reports. We may collect other personal information in order to improve communication between providers and parents.

What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
When you supply information about yourself for a specific purpose, we use the information only for that purpose and to manage the internal operations and security of our site consistent with the Terms of Use governing this site and this Privacy Policy. Such purpose may include the disclosure of your information to unaffiliated companies/vendors where necessary to and for the limited purpose of processing your request, processing a transaction authorized by you, or providing you with products or services.

When you voluntarily submit information to us (such as submitting a Demo Request), you are agreeing to receive email or text communications from GoPad. You may opt-out from receiving communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email you receive from us or replying “STOP” by text.

At times we may ask you for contact information or conduct online surveys to better understand your needs, so that we can provide you with a customized experience. If we wish to use this information other than as set forth in this Privacy Policy, we will let you know at the time of collection.

When you visit our site, we automatically collect:
The website URL you came from.
The start time and duration of your visit.
The pages you visited and your journey through our site.
Your IP address and geolocation.
The browser, device type and operating system of your computer.
We also collect personally identifiable information you voluntarily provide when you submit a form, make a request, register for, or log into our site.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted between providers and GoPad Secure via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encrypted.

Consent and Licensee Requirements
GoPad Secure Licensee “Provider” will provide notice to parents or obtain parental consent to send electronic communication via the GoPad Secure program. Provider may collect the parent’s contact information to send the parents electronic communication in regards to child’s activities. Provider will make reasonable efforts, taking into account available technology, to ensure that the parent receives notice of the program.

Parent Refusal
At any time parents can request that any personal information be deleted or they be removed from the GoPad Secure program. A parent can contact the childcare director or schools department supervisor to change or delete the personal information collected about his or her child.

Parent Emails
GoPad Secure does track the delivery status of daily report emails to allow a childcare provider to ensure a parent has received a critical piece of information. If you would like to opt out of that delivery status update please notify us at support@gopadsecure.com

Children’s Privacy
GoPad Secure does not permit children under 14 the ability to access, post publicly or otherwise distribute personal information.
*The term “parent” includes legal guardians.

Use of Cookies
Our site uses cookies, which are small files stored on your computer that contain information about your visits (see “What We Collect” above). By using cookies, we can personalize our site to enhance your online experience and measure things, such as the total number of visits, average time spent on the site, number of pages viewed, and how people reach our site. Security and access to your information
We will take commercially reasonable steps to safeguard your information from unauthorized access. When you submit information through our site, it is protected both online and offline. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident, you have the right to receive: a) information identifying any third-party companies to whom we may have disclosed, within the past year, personal information pertaining to you and your family for that company’s direct marketing purposes; and b) a description of the categories of personal information disclosed. “DO NOT TRACK” SIGNALS
Do Not Track is a privacy preference you can set in your browser. When you turn on the Do Not Track, the browser sends a message to sites requesting them not to track the user. Currently, GoPad does not respond to Do Not Track browser settings. In addition, GoPad may use other technologies that are standard to the Internet to track visitors.
